LEED V4 Additions, Changes & Improvements: How Will This Affect You?
Credits: BOMI: 1 OAA: 1 Cost: $45
LEED has emerged as North America’s de facto green building rating system since it debuted a decade ago. The newest iteration of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) – v4 as it is called – was launched in Canada in November 2013 and the first Canadian Alternate Compliance Paths (ACPs) were released last June. The first question developers and designers have about the new rating system is: “Will it be easier or more difficult to get certified?” This session will review technical aspects that have remained the same while highlighting how LEED has undergone a shift in its big picture philosophy and a reprioritization of key environmental goals.
